Pengaruh Jenis Insisi pada Operasi Katarak terhadap Terjadinya Sindroma Mata Kering

Katarak merupakan penyakit dengan insiden  tinggi pada mata dengan penanganan operatif pada kornea yang berisiko menimbulkan sindroma mata kering. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan jenis insisi pada operasi katarak terhadap  terjadinya  sindroma  mata  kering  (SMK).  Penelitian  ini  merupakan  penelitian  analitik  observasional  pada  36 sampel yang dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok berdasarkan jenis insisi pada operasi katarak, yaitu kelompok Extra Capsular Cataract Extraction (ECCE), kelompok Small Incision Cataract Surgery (SICS), dan kelompok fakoemulsifikasi. Kuesioner Ocular  Surface  Disease  Index  (OSDI),  T es  Schirmer,  tes  (MGD),  tes  Ferning,  tes  T ear  Break  Up  Time  (TBUT)  dilakukan sebelum operasi dan setelah operasi. Dilakukan analisa statistik untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara jenis insisi pada  operasi  katarak  terhadap  terjadinya  sindroma  mata  kering.  Didapatkan  31  sampel  yang  mengalami  SMK  pasca operasi  katarak,  dengan  12  (38,7%)  sampel  pada  kelompok  ECCE  11  (35,5%)  sampel  pada  kelompok  fakoemulsifikasi  yang mengalami  SMK,  dan  sebanyak  8  (25,8%)  sampel  pada  kelompok  SICS  yang  mengalami  SMK.  T erdapat  hubungan  signifikan antara  jenis  insisi  pada  operasi  katarak  dengan  terjadinya  SMK  (p=0,018). Kata  Kunci:  Insisi,  mata  kering,  operasi  katarakDownloads
